Tokenomics

Market cap

The value of circulating token supply at current price.

What it means

Market cap is commonly calculated as price multiplied by circulating supply. It is useful for comparing liquid assets, but it may ignore locked or future supply.

Why it matters

Readers can overrate small market caps when most tokens are still locked. Market cap should be read beside FDV, float, and liquidity.
